On the 24th of March there were carried searches in houses of 9 Muslim women in the sity of Almetyevsk, Tatarstan, Russia. After the interrogations four sisters were detained:

Mukhametzyanova Gulia, Akhmetova Aigul, Akhmetzyanova Elianora and Farrahova Irina. Each of this sisters has young children and babies. One of sisters, Davletshina Albina was completely stripped during the interrogation, FSB officers were seeking from her accusatory testimony to one of the detained Muslim women.

Detained sisters charged with part 1 and part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation, with the sanction that reaches a life imprisonment (this article means in Russia accusation in participating in Hizb ut-Tahrir).

“In this connection I appeal to the Muslims in Russia and all over the world, to religious leaders, human rights activists and public figures calling to stand up for our pure sisters, defend our honour; it’s necessary to demand from Russian aithorities to release our sisters immediately and stop this humiliation.”
