A pregnant Muslimah, Khadijah, in Toulouse, France was physically and verbally attacked on Tuesday morning due to her Hijab. She was hospitalised and reported the crime to the police.
Her husband Mounir denounced this Islamophobic act:-
“My wife had just put our two daughters to school, one kindergarten and one in elementary school. Upon leaving, she met two young men. One of them grabbed her hair, pulled on her Hijab while insulting her.”
“According to my wife, the Hijab did not please this man. He was very aggressive, gave her a lot of hits. He even pulled out a knife. Fortunately, his friend, who was not involved in the violence, told him to stop and that my wife was pregnant.”
“She should normally give birth in mid-April. The baby is okay but my wife is all ober the place. She took a lot of hits. Psychologically, it is very hard. She does not stop crying. ”
After final blows and a few more insults, including death threats, the two boys ran away , leaving the victim extremely shocked. Khadijah was hospitalised at Ambroise Paré clinic.
