They target refugee/student residential areas here in the US.
And offer them “free” English courses (language help), pick them up to and from the airport etc.. and slyly engage on them there through sharing falsified (anti-islamic brochures books etc). Notice how they don’t even preach to them about Christianity but rather work on creating doubt in ignorant Muslims who haven’t bothered to read the REAL events and Causes behind some Islamic issues (from MUSLIMS SOURCES). In their instructions to their missionary students, they explicitly tell them that converting one DIRECTLY from Islam to Christianity is near impossible (bc Islam is the devil etc..), so what they ask them is to attack Islam using atheistic methods…. like using revisionist history and distorting some events of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) particularly these events:
- Bani Quraiza-Jewish tribe who had their able bodied men killed (for betraying and plotting but failing to kill the Muslims in the battle of the trench)
- The Prophets (SAW) marriage to Aisha and Sarah etc…
- 4 wives
- Taqiyya (which is a shia practice and is not a Muslim practice), but they throw it in there anyways (misleading the ignorant).
- They also rely heavily on Tabari Hadiths (who is scholarly KNOWN as being an encyclopedia) and NOT a hadith narrator (by all scholars). He explicitly states so in his book that his hadiths are NOT authentically verified (he was a collector of everything and what everyone had to say). No chain of narrations, verification, numerous reporting, and the hadith sciences etc..) (but your average Muslim is ignorant). They also report some (daeef/false/weak hadiths from sahih muslim), and reword/rephrase some of them in English to suit their misleading purposes (which are explicitly unsuitable/misleading translations from the original Arabic language).
They then aim to tell ignorant Muslims that Islam is evil and brutal etc… with the full aim of making them atheist or agnostic (they explicitly say this) they would rather have Muslims disbelieve into ANYTHING than Islam (subhanAllah). Then they start the second phase which is Missionizing…. This phase involves them saying that Jesus is love/mercy/died for your sins etc…. and say that Jesus is believed to be coming even for Muslims + his miracles etc… Here is a sample of a comment posted by one of them:
“All you have to do to convert Muslims is to show them that the Quran is wrong. Jesus Christ was crucified, died, was buried, and resurrected the third day, ascended and is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Father. He is the Son of God and God the Son and He will come again, judge all the nations of the earth and set up His eternal kingdom which will last through all generations. Maranatha, Amen”
They mostly target poor/uneducated Ethiopian Muslims (with the blessings of the Christian Ethiopian government), Somali or Sudanese (north and newly formed south sudan) both bordering Ethiopia and also in the case of somalis living in th west, in refugee centers/student residential areas (in the UK mostly, US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA) with the methods i mentioned above. They also have very old missions organizations and VERY strong influence and connections in Lebanon (with a 40% Christian population and a Christian president) and to a lesser extent Egypt (with links to government even), they use this influence through establishment of universities/community organizations and channels like alhayat tv (satellite tv broadcasting) in Arabic with shows (mostly tarnishing the image of “practicing” Muslims to the general public) and very little time talking about Christianity even. Another Muslim country with organized and well financed missions organizations is Indonesia and East Malaysia (indonesia has a 7% christian population), they have very sophisticated methods to go undetected in these countries as they organize and preach in rented houses or apartments instead of the church. The Malaysian government has been having this issue with them over the use of “ALLAH” in the books etc… if you’ve been following the news. These organizations are also VERY well financed and have dedicated research departments (whereby they document, investigate, and come up with “improvements” on the methods they use). They look at what’s working, what isn’t, rewording/rephrasing, what to use etc…
They have had a lot of success in non-Muslim countries such as south korea, india (tribal/rural families or indian immigrants in the US), chinese rural areas and to some extent japan. In south America these evangelicals mostly establish these “apartment complex’s” in populated residential areas and evangelize (to protestantism) the locals who are mostly (catholics), then go on to establish local (run by locals) missionizing centers with financing from western donors (mostly southern states, USA).
What is needed is similar MUSLIM organizations with dedicated research departments and heavy reliance on writing/correcting and posting articles, blogs, videos online to counter their false information. Currently when a Muslim searches for example for “is Islam violent” most results are anti islamic websites. We need scholars (with their OWN unified and popular website), their job is VERY important. They expose and fight these Orientalists attempts at deceiving people with the SMALL stuff, like rewording a single word, letter or mistranslating or using fake sources of hadith like tabari etc (as is the case with Christian anti-Muslims websites like “answering-islam or wikiislam”. Another issue today is the so called “new finding of the Quran”, which they are saying predates prophet Muhammad (SAW) which can only mean according to them (the Quran was written by priests etc..) such lies and MAKR (They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah). Let us Organize and raise awareness.
